The reTreat: DBF

What to expect: A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. The reTreat at the DBF is designed to help you pause, wonder, reconnect, and find a glimmer of yourself that brings you and others joy. Experience through guided moments, restorative space, and time to simply be.

Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.

Join us for an evening (or overnight) of good food, meaningful conversation, fresh air, and quiet moments around the farm. Together we'll celebrate friendship, find rest in nature, and make space to release whatever has become too heavy to carry.

There is no agenda to "fix" ourselves. Just an invitation to be present.

The Heart Behind the Retreat

At Do Better Farm, we believe nature has a remarkable way of reminding us what matters.

Plants continue to grow after storms.

Animals teach us the rhythm of caring for one another.

The seasons remind us that letting go is part of making room for new life.

This retreat is simply an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, gather around the table, and remember that none of us are meant to carry life alone.

One Small Thing

As you prepare for the retreat, we'd love for you to bring one small item from nature.

Perhaps it's a smooth stone picked up on a favorite trail, a feather found in your yard, a pinecone, shell, leaf, seed pod, or flower.

Don't overthink it. Choose whatever draws your attention.

During our bonfire gathering, you'll be invited to share the story of your item and how it reflects this season of your life. Sometimes the simplest things have the most to teach us. You can choose to add this item to the fire.

Friday, August 14 - Saturday, August 15

Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
